Our team: Meet the OKC Squad

Courtney

Oahu Keiki Club founder: Courtney

Aloha, I’m Courtney! The Army brought our family to Hawaii, and we’ve fallen in love with the island and the community we’ve built here and are here to stay. Long before having three little kids of my own, I was a yoga instructor and have always valued the benefits exercise and being outdoors can bring to your life and mental health. There is nothing better than helping our kids learn these values as well. Watching our own kids develop confidence, social skills, and a love of fitness has been immensely rewarding, and we hope you have the same experience!

Jack

Oahu Keiki Club founder: Jack

I am a Dad and someone who is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and developing people. We love this little community that we've helped cultivate, and we can't wait to see what the future holds. I focus on consistency with our little ones, and I always try to offer a more challenging option during our games or on the obstacles. I'm always looking for constructive feedback, so please let me know if there is anything I can do to help make this experience better for you and your family.

Ashley

Oahu Keiki Club coach: Ashley

Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m currently a junior attending college in Hawaii.

I grew up in sports and was super close with my all of my coaches. I wanted to be just like them, so i became a coach for my swim team since i was 14. Every summer was a blast!

Watching kids feeling confident and excited is my favorite thing about being a coach. Just being able to encourage them and support them is what I love to do.

I’m so excited to be able to bring energy and joy to practice for everyone!

Elizabeth

Oahu Keiki Club coach: Elizabeth

Hi everyone! I'm Coach Elizabeth, and you'll find me on the field on Wednesdays and Saturdays with my two runners Max and Charlotte.

We love getting outside and moving around. When we're not at OKC, we're hiking, swimming, snorkeling, or finding new adventures or playgrounds.

I'm also a teacher (where my high schoolers call me Coach, too!), so you may meet some of my student volunteers on the field. I love being a part of OKC and spending time with all your energetic kiddos!

Jessica

Oahu Keiki Club coach: Jessica

My name is Jessica Glass. I'm 16 years old and have 6 siblings. I've been homeschooled since the 6th grade, and love to go on hikes and workout.

Julia

Oahu Keiki Club coach: Julia

Aloha! I am Coach Julia! You will find me on the field with my three children- Leithan, Lyra, and Lev (pictured with me). It is a great treat for us as we love being outside and moving our bodies! When we are not on the field with the Oahu Keiki Club, we are either exploring the exciting tide pools all over the island or swimming and snorkeling in one of our favorite beautiful lagoons.

I love being a part of the OKC because it is not only about being active and strengthening our own bodies, but also building a community of amazing friends. We are all at our happiest when we are connected to ourselves and to those around us. It is truly wonderful to see all our keikis fostering friendships and gaining confidence in their physical and social abilities.

Looking forward to meeting you on the field and have fun together!!

Susy

Oahu Keiki Club coach: Susy

Hello! I’m Coach Susy and am so excited to be joining the OKC team!I am an avid runner and love to craft and do DIY projects. Most days I am on outdoor adventures around the island with my 2 little ones. My oldest has been a part of the OKC family for nearly a year and I couldn’t be more excited to join him (and now my youngest!) on the field!

Miguel

Oahu Keiki Club assitant: Miguel

Hi everyone! I’m Miguel. Since I was a child I’ve always loved sports and I’ve always been interested in health and fitness.

OKC’s philosophy really caught my attention because it focuses on the most important thing: creating positive feelings about exercising and sharing time with friends and family!

If you’re looking for a place where your kids can be themselves and make a lot of new friends while they’re in contact with fitness and nature this is the perfect place for you.

Mahalo!
